Stacey Solomon transforms used olive oil bottle and the result is so stylish
Lockdown is upon us and with lots of time spent indoors it is the perfect time to get to get creative with what we already have. Loose Women panelist Stacey Solomon has done just that, choosing to spend Tuesday revamping an old olive oil bottle.
Posting on her Instagram stories Stacey shared an image of a used olive oil bottle, some white matt paint and some glossy paint spray.
The star then said: “So while the pickle is having a nap, I just took the label off of my olive oil and I’m going and jazz it up a bit”.
The former X Factor contestant then showcased her method which included scrubbing off the label using warm water and a sponge.
Stacey then spray-painted the bottle, admitting that she “should have let it dry over night” but that she was “too impatient”.
The next step in the transformation was to remove the lid and add on a pourer cap, which the star shared was from Amazon and “come in packs and work out about 50p”.
Stacey then added a label that reads ‘olive oil’ in cursive wiring which is made by the Label Lady, which is actually a brand created by Stacey’s sister Jemma Solomon.
Using her famed 'Tap to tidy' format, in which followers can tap to see the finished product, she showcased the chic new bottle, and it looked near unrecognisible, and we'd love to give it a try!
Stacey has also been making lots of other DIY craft projects while in lockdown. Last month she created a very unique accessories holder.

Taking to her Instagram stories Stacey uploaded a video of herself in the garden drilling into a stick on her lawn, alongside the caption: “Hoe [Joe Swash] bought me back a pretty stick.
"Some love flowers, some sticks. I was over the moon” alongside some laughing faces. [sic]
“So I’m using some string, hooks and fake flowers to try and make it something useful”.

Stacey also filmed herself tying string into the stick before sharing an image of the materials she was using which were sticks, a drill, fake flower crowns and string.
But what was she making? Well, she then showed the fruits of her labour which was a stick hanging from string and wrapped with little white flowers.
The item serves as a storage unit of sorts holding an array of Stacey accessories, including pretty hairbands, some leather belts and a silk scarf.
