The Whole 'Too Hot To Handle' Cast Is In A Group Chat Now, And I Want In
Netflix blessed screens everywhere with its new reality dating show, Too Hot To Handle, on April 17. Filled with sexy singles attempting to live it up and find love on a sun-soaked beach despite a ban on all sexual activities, it was just the brain break everyone needed.
What you binged in record time actually was filmed one year ago. So, you might be wondering what all the Too Hot To Handle cast members have been up to and where are they now? (I gotchu.)
For starters, they’ve all stayed in touch. “There is a group chat,” Francesca Farago told Women’s Health. “Yes, it’s called Lana is Bae.” And, apparently, there’s no bad blood among the cast, since they all still participate in the convos. “Everybody’s always been a family,” Rhonda Paul also told Women’s Health. “We may have our dysfunctional moments, just like any family would, but in the group chat, everybody’s still active.”
Here’s what the cast of Too Hot To Handle has been up to since leaving the retreat and cashing in on chastity.
The vegan model and influencer splits her time between Vancouver and Los Angeles. Now, she’s gearing up to launch her own ethical swimwear line, Farago the Label. The bikinis are hand made in Brazil using biodegradable and recyclable fabric.
While she’s currently quarantining with her dog Romi in Vancouver, Frankie still follows Harry Jowsey on Insta, and it appears IRL, too. A little social media sleuthing reveals both have posted travel pics at the same time from the same place around the world. Neither one has publicly shared any relationship updates yet.
Francesca’s partner in crime moved to Los Angeles. He helms a clothing brand called Naughty Possums. Sorry, that phrase seems to be here to stay. It’s embroidered on the brand’s hoodies and shirts, along with Harry’s other notable comments (see: “boyfriend dick”).
If you look really closely, there are some easter eggs around Instagram that might show a continuing relationship with Francesca. Tbd more official deets on whether Francesca and Harry are still dating.
Unlike many of her fellow castmates, Rhonda hasn’t made any big moves. She still lives in Atlanta, where she is the CEO and founder of the jewelry brand PureLuXX. PureLuXX sells a variety of bracelets and chains. To date, there are no signs of Sharron on her feed.
She has, however, shared adorable snaps of adventures with her son on the ‘gram and appears to make cameos on Kelz’s feed.
It may not be public, but Rhonda definitely keeps in touch with all the THTH cast. “We all kind of support each other, answer each other’s questions,” she said. “You know, we’re still hoping to all meet up at some point in time to have a little get together, just to see each other again. So it is like the suspense is building.”
Speaking of Sharron, he’s keeping busy as an actor and model. So far, his acting credits, include minor parts in Creed II and Fetty Wap’s “Fresh and Clean” music video.
According to his website, “Sharron is on a mission to share his gifts with the world, while inspiring as many people as he can in the process.” There’s no social media evidence of a relationship with Rhonda, at least not yet.
Chloe’s still the self-professed “queen of banter” and living in Essex. Since the show wrapped, she did some world traveling to Italy, Egypt, and Turkey according to her Instagram. Whether it helped her geography skills is still TBD, but she made her way right back to Essex.
She’s also been doling out words of wisdom on the ‘gram. Keep a lookout for more gems like, “Be a goal digger. Not a gold digger.”
David is a fitness and nutrition coach based in London. He also founded his own performance coaching company Endeavor Life, “an innovative program combining Nutrition, Fitness and action based Performance Coaching for the everyday man who wants more from life,” according to the company Instagram bio.
In his spare time, he’s also been reviewing Too Hot To Handle episodes on his Youtube channel. He also hasn’t shared any hint of a lasting relationship with fellow contestant Lydia Clyma, at least not yet.
[LET’S INCLUDE AN EMBED OF HIM REVIEWING THE FIRST EPISODE HERE]
Lydia made a splash as a late arrival at the retreat, especially with David. Since her three-episode stint at the retreat, she’s been working asa “TV + Social Media Presenter” according to her Insta bio.
She lives in London (yep, same city as David!) and works as a ring girl at mixed martial arts and boxing matches. Her Instagram is filled with ring-side pics and travel snaps with captions like, “To grow as a whole, you must put equally as much effort into your inner being, as you do your outer life. Oh and eat cake… or squat hard… whatever works for you 🍑.”
Matthew Stephen Smith
Matthew served as a guru of sorts for the contestants and repeatedly referred to himself as “Jesus.” Post-show, he moved from Colorado to LA. No word if he and Harry have hung out yet. Now, he is COO of the branding agency, Dream Katchers Enterprise.
He also works as an actor (because LA) and as president of brand M8W, which “represents the idea of a judge free world full of love and compassion – a clothing brand for everyone,” according to the website. His IMDb page also says, “Matthew is now a well-known world wide male fashion model and has also proven himself as a reputable writer and producer within the creative realm.”
Haley got kicked out of the Too Hot To Handle retreat before the big payout, but that didn’t seem to get the Florida native down. She’s still based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and attends the University of North Florida.
If her Instagram feed is any indication, she spends more time in a bikini than hitting the books. She also still keeps in touch with her makeout-partner-in-crime, Francesca. “Haley and I are still friends. We don’t talk as much as I would like. I think she’s really busy with school,” she previously told Women’s Health. “And obviously, I have a busy life, as well as living on other sides of the country.”
Madison lives in LA and works as a model and stylist. She arrived late and left early, but found friendships while at the THTH retreat. Madison said she didn’t have an emotional connection with any of the guys there, but “I had a lot of great connections as friendships,” on her recent Instagram stories.
Madison also said her modeling career started at age 15. She went on her Instagram stories and answered a stream of fan questions. “You have to remember that reality TV isn’t real. There’s so much that’s twisted to make the viewers think differently,” Madison said. She also joked she’d never do reality TV ever again, but she’s planning to take her “acting to the next level.”
He and Chloe hit it off instantly when he joined the THTH crew, though they couldn’t quite see eye to eye on the beach (because he only had eyes for Fran). Kori ended up leaving the retreat, anyway. Since then, he built Lean Lifestyle. “I have designed this ebook for a one stop shop into transforming your body and lifestyle through my own experiences in the industry,” according to his website. (FYI: The ebook costs $19.99.)
He also spent some time in Thailand, posing around the beach, but he made his way back to the U.K.
Bryce also arrived late, but boy did he make his presence known on the beach. Nobody will be able to forget his musical stylings, but he didn’t make any lasting romantic connections.
Bryce’s Los Angeles boat life looks a lot like the retreat sans Lana, and he shares all about his boat parties on the ‘gram in @boatchronicles. He’s also an “Award Winning producer/director/writer/actor whose films have been screened in some of the most popular film festivals in the world,” per IMDB.
Kelechi “Kelz” Dyke
Kelz was the accountant of the THTH retreat who became a big fan fave. Afterward, he paid Bryce a visit on his boat and looked like he was having a blast with lots of bikini-clad ladies.
Kelz returned to London to play for the London Warriors, the British American football team. He’s still based in South London, and his team is six-time national champs, according to their Instagram.
The Irish lass didn’t find love on THTH, but that didn’t sour Nicole’s experience. “I thought sweet mother of divine, this is amazing,” she told the Irish Mirror. After leaving the beach, she went back to London and set big goals for herself.
That’s not all she’s up to, lately. “I am obviously going to take every opportunity now and hopefully leave that job to do my own thing,” she told the Irish Mirror. “I’m hoping to launch a lingerie line in the next few months so I’m working on that, I want to merge my commerce mindset and get longevity out of this opportunity.”
She also has musical dreams. “Music is definitely something I want to pursue,” she told the Irish Mirror. “I’m a big fan of musical theatre and my dream would be to be on the West End. My whole family is musical, it comes from both sides of my family. I’ve grown up playing piano, guitar and singing from a very young age.”
Name not ringing a bell? Don’t worry, Desiree’s voice is all THTH viewers got to hear on the reg. She was the narrator on the quirky show.
Desiree is a professional comedian and just wrapped a U.K. comedy tour, according to her website. She calls out and makes fun of common frustrations, like fatphobia in her sets. Her 2017 show “Unf*ckable” was a hit, according to The Guardian, and Desiree also starred in the 2019 Comedy Central special, Desiree Burch Live.
