TAMPA BAY

EARTHA is having just her sixth run today and showed improved form when third here last time. She makes a wise drop in distance after fading in the final furlong having been up with the pace. Her trainer is in good form and she won’t be far away.
Aunt Irene looks the big danger after finishing a close second last time. That was her course debut and she should have learned from the experience.
Commission was second on debut before a rusty comeback and can get closer.

OLD FORT is a regular in the places and has finished ahead of some of today’s rivals lately. He travelled well over a similar distance last time and held on strongly for a decent second. He has a better draw today and won’t be far away.
Hubba Bubba was beaten in a head-bobber over an extra half-furlong last time out. He didn’t get the clearest of runs and has every chance of going one better.
Purrs Again improved for dropping to this distance last time and should be in the mix.

THREE OLIVEZ has been running well and has blinkers on for the first time here. That could help him come out of the gates quicker as a slow start proved costly when he was a close second here last time. Trouble in running didn’t help and he has every chance of getting off the mark.
Mozano has been running in slightly better races than this and was a fair fourth at Gulfstream last time. This easier class gives him a chance of getting off the mark.
Poznan was beaten a nose over half a furlong further last time and should be right there again.

SCARLET BOW has done nothing wrong in winning her past three starts all over a very similar distance to this. Those victories came on the dirt track but she has tasted success on the turf too when trained in Canada. In her current form she will be hard to beat. Plenty of these are in good nick including Sapphire Jubilee. She has four wins under her belt on turf and didn’t get the run of the race when fifth here last time out.
Mambo Dancer was a good second on the dirt here last month and is another who likes this surface.

NEVER HAVE I EVER spends most of his time in better races than this and was a winner for Royal Ascot regular Wesley Ward last season. He has been running at Gulfstream where he went off too fast last time and didn’t get home. That was over a mile and this distance should be more up his street.
Game Day Drama is out wide but was a good third here latest and has six places from seven runs at the track. He looks a fair each-way shout again.
Perp finished a place ahead of the latter here latest and there won’t be much between them again.

FLORIDA RUST had shocking traffic problems when beaten four lengths here last time out. She has shown some promise over this trip and could making this debut for a new yard.
Marchenwald went down by just a neck over course and distance last time. That was her best run in 14 career outings and this looks a good chance to get off the mark.
Dakota Beach had to come wide over a similar trip last time and paid the price in the home straight. She did well to finish second and will be in the mix again.

SKY MISCHIEF should find this a lot easier than the valuable race he contested at Gulfstream last time out. He went up to that grade after two good seconds here and there should be more to come on just his fourth outing.
Sense Of Justice is coming back from a year off and represents a trainer who has plenty of success at this track. A market move would be telling.
Drama Chorus has three runs at the track under his belt and can put his experience to good use in hitting the frame as he did on debut.

BITCOIN PASSION couldn’t have done much more when winning on debut here in January. He came with a smooth run there to strike with plenty left in the tank. It’s a slight worry that we haven’t seen him since but his gallop times have been good leading up to this return.
Alley Oop Johnny was just run out of it in the closing stages here last time having set a strong pace. That came after a gutsy win in a photo and he looks the main threat.
Our Country has been in the winner’s enclosure at Saratoga and is one to keep an eye on returning from a break.
