What are all the Dancing On Ice winners up to now? From Joe Swash to Ray Quinn to Matthew Wolfenden

Dancing On Ice is starting again, and of course we are delighted.

As the UK is currently in a third lockdown we could all do with a much-welcome distraction, and glittery outfits and skating celebs will surely do it.

Stars including Mummy Diaries star Billie Faiers, presenter Denise Van Outen and former I’m A Celeb contestant Rebekah Vardy will take to the ice to compete for that much-coveted trophy.

Since the show launched there have been 12 series, with one All-Stars featuring old winners and other contestants in 2014.

We take a look back at what those winners are up to now since skating off our screens….

Gaynor Faye

On the first series of Dancing on Ice in 2006 Gaynor Faye and Daniel Whiston were crowned the champions. Gaynor went on to appear in Emmerdale playing Megan Macey for seven years. She left last year to spend more time with her children.

Kyran Bracken

Rugby player Kyran Bracken and Melanie Lambert won the show in 2007. Kyran then returned to Dancing on Ice the following year to help friend Steve Backley and again in 2014 when he appeared in the All Stars series, where he was knocked out in the quarter-finals. Last year he launched a podcast called Ruck it.

Suzanne Shaw

In 2008 it was Suzanne Shaw and Matt Evers who lifted the Dancing on Ice trophy. Suzanne was another celeb who joined Emmerdale for just over a year playing Eve Birch. Since then Suzanne is a regular on the panto circuit last appearing in Cinderella at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

Ray Quinn

Ray Quinn was the champion in the fourth series in 2009, with Maria Fillippov. Ray went on to play Danny Zuko in the West End production of Grease before joining Hollyoaks in 2018 for a year. He also recently took a lockdown job as a delivery driver for Hermes.

Hayley Tamaddon

Skating her way to the final and winning in 2010 was Hayley Tamaddon and skating partner Daniel Whiston. Hayley joined the cast of Coronation Street until 2015 and then appeared in a comedy feature called Eaten by Lions.

Sam Attwater

In 2011 EastEnders star Sam Attwater was paired with Brianne Delcourt and went on to win the series. After winning he went on to marry Dancing on Ice professional skater Vicky Ogden and has now got two daughters.

Matthew Wolfenden

Matthew Wolfenden and Nina Ulanova were winners in 2012. Matt continues to play David Metcalfe in Emmerdale and is married to co-star Charley Webb. The couple have three children.

Beth Tweddle

Series eight saw Olympian Beth Tweddle and Daniel Whiston taking the title in 2013. Tweddle then signed up for The Jump in 2016, however, she suffered a back injury and was forced to pull out.

Ray Quinn (again)

In 2014 there was a special All Star’s edition of Dancing on Ice which saw Ray Quinn win five years after first claiming the title. This was the last series after Torvill and Dean announced they were leaving.

Jake Quickenden

Dancing on Ice returned to our screens in 2018 when Jake Quickenden and Vanessa Baur won. Jake then joined Hollyoaks as Woody the hunky builder.

James Jordan

In 2019 ex-Strictly professional dancer James Jordan signed up for Dancing on Ice and won the show. James has just welcomed a baby girl with his wife Ola.
