Why iPhone users may now want to cancel their Amazon Prime account

Apple has launched a new subscription service to rival the likes of Amazon Prime.

And iPhone users who already fork out for things like Apple Music might want to consider cancelling their subscription.

The subscription offers access to music streaming, TV series and movies on-demand and cloud photo storage.

Similarly, Amazon bundles music streaming, unlimited cloud back-up for photos, and access to Amazon Prime video.

But if you have several Apple devices, and already have Apple bills stamped on your current account statement, you may just want to combine their services and pay one flat monthly fee.

On the flip side, if it’s the Amazon Prime unlimited next-day delivery you’re after, you may wish to stick with it. Apple isn't likely to offer a similar service.

But if you already have Apple products, it may seem like the logical subscription service to have.

If you have more than one Apple product, you’ll be able to enjoy your subscription across all of them – including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.

Eddy Cue, Apple Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services, said: “Apple One makes enjoying Apple subscription services easier than ever, including Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud, and more.

“With Apple One, you can access the best of Apple entertainment across all your favourite devices with one simple subscription.”
