Amy Childs dating hunky new man called Tim after her Celebs Go Dating ‘cheating’ nightmare – The Sun
REALITY TV star Amy Childs is loved up again after her disastrous stint on Celebs Go Dating.
The Essex star, 29, was cruelly pied by a guy she was seeing on the C4 dating show – after he kissed someone else while on a free luxury holiday with her.
Casanova Jamie had even gone as far as meeting her family and children, which she said was a huge deal for her – but then went on to snog another girl while on the freebie trip to the Dominican Republic.
But things are looking up for the Towie favourite.
Since the shambolic TV dating experience, she's been getting cosy with new man, Tim – and friends say she's smitten.
The mum-of-two is said to be 'very excited' by her new flame.
An insider told New! magazine: "It's early days but Amy is very excited about Tim.
"We heard she went on a few dates with him last year but it wasn't the right time and it fizzled out.
"But they are back in touch and things are going really well."
The source said: "Tim's really good looking and he makes her laugh. He is just what Amy needs and her friends are saying it's so nice to see her happy."
The insider said it 'hasn't been easy' for single mum Amy, but she's bouncing back.
The duo recently posted on social media how they were enjoying a BBQ together, with Amy calling the lad 'my chef' with a heart emoji.
The loved up Tim posted on social media in a hot tub: "Isolation isn’t that bad after all! Quality time with my girl."
And a pic of them on a night out before lockdown, captioned: "With this little sort last night."
Essex favourite Amy shot to fame in Towie in 2010. And it looks as though she will return for the show’s tenth anniversary later this year.
She told The Sun: “It is me having a laugh again. I feel like I am enjoying work again.
“I felt like I really needed this to get my confidence back.
“I was focusing on my kids and my business and I needed this to focus on myself again, so that definitely means seeing me more on TV.”
