Disney+ reveals fate of The Kardashians after string of beloved shows axed | The Sun

DISNEY+ has announced the fate of its hit show The Kardashians after a string of beloved shows have been axed by the streaming platform.

Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie have been entertaining the world with their different reality shows for years and now fans will find out if the drama is set to continue.

Disney+ has revealed they have renewed the fan-favourite series The Kardashians for 20 additional episodes.

The upcoming season three will premiere on May 25th with all-new episodes being screened every Thursday.

This season, viewers will get to watch as the famous family navigate motherhood, coparenting, and building their own empires.

The streaming platform has teased that the sisters’ bond will be tested as tensions arise.

The fate of the hit show was cast into doubt after Disney+ said it was in the process of "reviewing the content on our DTC services to align with the strategic changes in our approach to content curation".

It stopped short of revealing what content will fall victim to the cutbacks and whether any shows will be axed as a result.

However, it did confirm that going forward it intends to produce "lower volumes of content in alignment with this strategic shift".

Chief Financial Officer Christine McCarthy said it expects to write off a whopping $1.5 billion by the latter end of the year.
