Emmerdale exit sealed for Mackenzie Boyd as fans work out murder twist

Emmerdale: Nate and Mack have conversation about the baby

The moment Emmerdale viewers have been waiting for unfolded on screens during Thursday night’s episode of the ITV serial drama when Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) discovered Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) had cheated on her with Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland).

Mackenzie was praying she would never find out about the affair or the fact that he’s baby Reuben’s real father, but Charity’s curiosity lead her to the truth.

She realised he was the baby’s father when she went to visit Chloe in the hospital following Rueben’s health scare.

When she arrived at the ward, she saw Chloe and Mackenzie cuddling the baby together looking like a family. It was at that moment the penny dropped for Charity.

Her vision blurred as the heartbreaking truth sank in, leaving fans fearing she might murder Mackenzie to get revenge.

Jayde Gandolfi tweeted: “#Emmerdale. Charity is scarier just walking off saying nothing. Run Mack, run!”

Michelle Jones added: “I hope Charity comes up with the mother of all acts of revenge #emmerdale”

@Adjalf1 theorised: “I hope this leads to Mack leaving! Get Charity with Suzie or something! #Emmerdale.”

Michelle remarked: “Karma has come for you Mackrat! Charity, babe, do not take him back! #Emmerdale.”

Charmaine Brown commented: “If I were Mack I’d leave Emmerdale! Charity is planning his death as we speak!! Brilliant episode: I wasn’t expecting it to come out so soon!”

Jack wrote: “It’s about time Charity came to her senses.”

Will Charity find a way to forgive her cheating husband or is there no way of moving past this betrayal?

The Emmerdale icon is known for being feisty and quick to react in the heat of the moment, so is Mackenzie’s life in danger?

Would Charity go as far as killing her spouse in upcoming scenes?

Perhaps Mackenzie will flee the village and never return to avoid the wrath of Charity.

Chloe better watch her back as well because a heartbroken Charity could also seek revenge on the teenager too.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
