Gogglebox viewers furiously complain as programme filled with TV spoilers

Gogglebox viewers were left utterly incensed as the latest instalment featured spoilers for some of the latest and most exciting TV shows peppered throughout.

As the telly-watching stars geared up for a night settled in on the sofa, fans weren't prepared for a number of scenes showing the best bits from the latest popular hits.

There were moments from Strictly Come Dancing, the new season of Sex Education, and the first episode of the Great British Bake Off, which now features Alison Hammond as a presenter.

Scenes from Blankety Blank were also shown during the latest episode.

Sharing their annoyance on X, formerly known as Twitter, viewers took the opportunity to vent that Gogglebox had inadvertently ruined some of their favourite shows.

"I know the ending now though…. Gogglebox gave spoilers," one person complained.

Another frustrated fan posted: "I do love #Gogglebox, BUT, bl**dy hell, the 'spoilers' proper p**s me off sometimes!

"I know, I know, it's my own fault for not watching stuff quicker 'n that, BUT, for f**k's saaake!"

"Gogglebox is the biggest spoiler show in the world," a third viewer lamented.

While a fourth shot back: "Gogglebox shows the weeks TV so yes Spoilers, not rocket science."

This week's episode debuted two new TV fans in the form of Elaine and Seb.

Fans were thrilled with the duo's addition to the show, with many praising their fresh brand of comedy and insight.

"They're doing a grand job," one fan encouraged, as another said: "Can't wait to see more of these pair, Elaine and Seb are great #gogglebox."

It comes as former Gogglebox favourite Sandra Martin has had an influx of support from fans after she revealed that her beloved sister had died.

The star, who was one of the original Gogglebox cast and appeared on the show until 2016 with her good friend Sandi Bogle, shared the news on her Instagram page.

Sharing pictures of herself and her sister Jennifer, Sandra captioned the snap: "My sister Jennifer has passed away”.

As fans shared their thoughts for the TV star, one wrote: "So sorry for your loss. Peace to you and your family."

"Ohh I am so sorry to hear this Sandra," another follower posted, followed by: "So sorry for your loss what a beautiful soul rest in paradise beautiful."
