What is the film about?

"The film was in production for one year with a cast and crew that represent diversity and connectivity."
Where can you watch it?
From July 31 Black Is King will be available to watch on Disney Plus.
You'll need to have a Disney Plus subscription to be able to see the film, as for now this is the only place it can be watched.
The film comes a year after the album it's based on was released.

Alongside Beyoncé, these are the big names you'll see feature in the visual album.
Jay-Z
Jay-Z is a rapper and musician in his own right and is the husband of Beyoncé.
He owns the streaming service Tidal.
Jay-Z was thought to have cheated on Beyoncé due to the lyrics in her album Lemonade, but the couple never divorced.
Instead they announced they wanted to split without formally divorcing in 2019, but seem to be still going strong.
Naomi Campbell
Naomi Campbell is arguably one of the most famous supermodels in the industry.
She has earned herself a reputation for being a diva over the years.
She is also an actress and businessman.
Pharrell Williams
The 'Happy' singer is known for topping charts with hit singles.
He featured on Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky', which won two Grammys.
Though, his association with the now deemed sexist song 'Blurred Lines' is something he's said he regrets.
Lupita Nyong'o
Lupita Nyong'o is best known for her role in 12 Years A Slave, which won several awards.
She's starred in Black Panther and the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
This year Forbes named her one of Africa's 50 Most Powerful Women.
Kelly Rowland
Kelly Rowland began her career alongside Beyoncé in the powerhouse group Destiny's Child, though Beyoncé was always thought to overshadow her band mates.
Kelly then went on to have a solo singing career and had chart success.
Later on she began an acting career and starred in Empire.
Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy will feature too, along with Tina Knowles, Nyaniso Dzedze, Aweng Ade-Chuol, Folajomi Akinmurele, Adut Akech, Jessie Reyez, JD McCrary, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Shatta Wale.
