ITV This Morning star confronted by fan in awkward case of mistaken identity
A This Morning star was accidentally mistaken for President Joe Biden during a lavish holiday with his wife in Dublin.
During Friday’s visit (August 4) to the ITV studios, Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle welcomed fans back to the beloved daytime show where they discussed some of the biggest stories hitting the headlines.
Throughout the programme, the presenting duo shared the sofa with former Blue Peter star Matt Baker, Ru Paul’s Drag Race winner, The Vivienne and beloved TV presenter Gyles Brandreth.

Things quickly derailed after they welcomed the royal expert onto the show via a video link while he continues his comedy set at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Before he promoted his new show, the star went on to reveal his most recent bizarre fan interaction while he was on holiday with his wife, Michèle Brown.
He explained: "I went to Dublin a few months ago and while I was there across the road someone waved at me and shouted, ‘Hello Joe’.
"They had mistook me for the President of the United States of America because Mr. Biden had just been in Dublin and they thought he was still there.
"And my wife said, ‘This’ll teach you for shuffling along the street you silly old man’, and I said, ‘Well at least I know where I am!’," he chuckled.
It's fair to say the former MP was mortified at the comparison with the political leader as he shared his frustration on the daytime show.
He went on to show off his impressive new Irish dance moves which he has integrated into his new show, and even got the approval from Craig who hails from the Emerald coast.
