Jordan Banjo ‘takes a swipe’ at Amir Khan after awkward I’m A Celebrity South Africa moment | The Sun
JORDAN Banjo had a cheeky dig at I'm A Celebrity co-star Amir Khan after the boxer claimed he didn't know who he was.
In excruciating scenes last night, former world champ Amir greeted Diversity star and Kiss radio host Jordan like an old friend, but really he was none the wiser about his co-star's identity.
Taking it in his stride after watching the pre-recorded first episode, Jordan posted on Instagram: "Mugged off by Amir Khan… Cheers bro [laughing emojis]."
He then shared a brief WhatsApp conversation with his sister Talisa, who said: "Why is Amir Khan being muggy. I'll box him up."
The interaction gave Jordan the giggles and he responded with laughter emojis.
Retired boxer Amir put on an impressive poker face when he greeted Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo as though he knew him before they went into camp.

However, he then admitted to the camera that while he knew Jordan must be famous, he had no clue who he actually was.

While another said: "Amir trying to remember who Jordan is!"
This viewer laughed: "Amir didn't have a scooby doo who Jordan is!"

It was previously revealed how the two men were involved in a "feud" during the time on the show.
Prior to taking part in the show, Amir was full of fighting talk as he insisted he wanted to be the "main man" in the safari camp.
He explained: "I got scared last time and I want to go in again and
come out as the main man – the champion. I am in this
to win it.
"I think I will cope well because I am going in knowing Australia helped me overcome a lot of things.
"It’s going to be like stepping into a ring and I am sure I will be fine."
The sports personality, who was previously known for eating strawberries behind the back of his campmates, admitted that he is a changed man.
He added: "I am not going to be a pushover. I came fifth last time but I want to go all the way in South Africa."
But Jordan, 30, was determined to win the competition himself.
"Anybody who goes on something and says they don’t want to win is a liar," he said.
"To win would be nice but to go back is a win too. You grow up watching I’m A Celebrity and there are so many people I would like to be with in the camp."
He added: "You push yourself to do things you wouldn’t normally do and I am getting excited about taking part in the programme again."
