With the series finale looming, fans of Line of Duty have unearthed a telling interview with former star Craig Parkinson which hinted that Kate Fleming, played by Vicky McClure, is hiding a huge secret.
In the exclusive clip dating back to August 2020, Craig, 45, revealed to This Morning hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that viewers can “never trust Vicky McClure” suggesting Kate could be the face behind the infamous H.
On the popular morning talk show, Craig said: “If you haven’t seen the show, it’s going to be really exciting for you and it’s going to be really exciting even if you haven’t seen it, to piece together little clues and little twists here and there.
“And the main thing is, don’t ask anybody about it, don’t listen to anybody about it and above all, don’t trust any of these characters – especially Vicky McClure!”
This comes after the former police actor revealed he has already watched the highly-anticipated final episode on his podcast on BBC Sounds, Obsessed with Line of Duty.
Following suit with his fellow former co-stars, Craig refused to reveal the identity of the mysterious crime boss H, it is thought that they will be unmasked in the final episode, which could be the last episode of the show.
Speaking on the Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 show, Craig shared his spoiler-free opinion on the final episode telling viewers they were “in for a belter” of a series finale.

Craig dished: “I think it’s gonna shock people. I think people are going to be frustrated, it’s exhilarating, it’s exciting … these aren’t soundbites.
"I’ve seen it four times, honestly, and it really stands up to repeat viewing.”
However, Craig has since warned viewers that the final episode will “break some hearts” during his appearance in Sky News’ Backstage Podcast.
The actor said: “I’m so proud of the guys for going back after the break, getting it done without any illness and delivering one of the iconic great British dramas that we've produced in the past few years.
“Talk about timing, we all need AC-12 in our life right now, albeit I’m sure they’re going to break some hearts at some point.”
Line of Duty airs Sunday night on BBC One at 9pm.
