Lisa Armstrong looks chic as she heads on night out before second lockdown kicks off

LISA Armstrong looks chic as she heads out for a night of fun before the looming second lockdown begins.

The make-up artist, 43, posted a cute photo of herself wearing a short black dress, which she teamed with tights, trainers and a small nude handbag slung over her shoulder.

Lisa appeared to be in a hotel room as she told fans to “stay safe” before the start of national lockdown 2.0.

The Strictly make-up maestro wrote in the caption for the snap: “Last time we’ll be able to do this for a while!! #staysafeeveryone xx”

Lisa finished her chic look with an on-trend floral face mask and her pinky-coloured hair pulled up into a top knot.

Keeping things simple, Lisa accessories with dark berry fingernails with just a couple of rings to complete her outfit.

The 43-year-old recently paid an emotional tribute to her late dad after losing him to cancer last year.

Lisa shared a photo of a special candle she received in honour of her father Derek on Instagram.

The candle had photos of Derek with Lisa as a child, as well as him later in life, and a written note of dedication to him.

Lisa captioned the post: "Thank-you @designitdave that was so sweet of you to think of me and send me this wonderful gift… I love it!!! #mydadda #daddiesgirl #misshimsomuch ❤️❤️❤️."

The candle itself read: "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, still very dear."

Lisa sadly said goodbye to her father in May last year following a battle with cancer.

A source at the time told The Sun that she was "distraught" by the news.

They said: "A lot of people think Lisa is strong, and she is — but she’s had so much to cope with since she and Ant split up.

"There’s been one thing after another and at times she’s felt on her knees. But she’s kept it together and ploughed on.

"To do all of that whilst knowing your dad is seriously ill and on borrowed time is quite something. It would break most people."
