Michelle Keegan tested for coronavirus after Brassic crew member showed symptoms

MICHELLE Keegan has been tested for coronavirus after a production team member on the set of Sky comedy Brassic showed symptoms of the virus.

Filming on the show’s third series – in which Michelle plays cash-strapped mum Erin – was halted and I’m told everyone involved was tested on Monday.

An insider said: “The safety of the cast and crew is of the utmost importance so until bosses know it’s totally safe filming won’t be going ahead.

“It could be a fortnight before it starts again. Michelle was due to start filming this week but nothing is happening until they’re sure it’s safe.”

I imagine this will happen across many TV shows in the next few months.

The 32-year-old actress stars in the hit Sky One series alongside a predominantly male cast including Joe Gilgun and Ryan Sampson.

But despite the testosterone-heavy set, Michelle insists she fitted right in and is the "blokiest one" of them all.

She said: "The lads invited me in, I never felt like an outsider.

"I literally am the blokiest one."
