Panic is set to release tomorrow (May 28) and will drop its entire season on Amazon Prime Video. The show works as a series of challenges, following a girl as she must overcome them one by one and try to survive. But who is in the cast of the new extreme sports series?

Who is in the cast of Panic?

Panic drops tomorrow, May 28, and brings on board a talented young cast for this adaptation of the Lauren Oliver novel of the same name.

Amazon are hedging their bets on the new series, hoping it will capture the same buzz that was seen in similar young adult franchises such as The Hunger Games and the Divergent films.

The synopsis of the series reads: “No one knows who invented Panic or when it first began. But in the forgotten rural town of Carp, Texas, the game is the only way out.

“Every summer the graduating seniors risk their lives competing in a series of challenges that force them to confront their deepest fears for the chance to win life-changing money.”

Express.co.uk has all the details on the cast of the new series and who they will be playing.

Heather Nill – Olivia Welch

Leading the series is Olivia Welch as Heather Nill, the protagonist of the series who will be fighting for freedom from her hometown.

The star has appeared in a number of different TV series and films before starring in Panic where she will go toe-to-toe with the other residents.

She can be seen in episodes of Unbelievable, Modern Family and Marvel’s Agent Carter, and has appeared in the films The Dunes Club and Sh*thouse.

Speaking to Screenrant about Panic and the difference to the original book, Welch said: “I had read the book in between booking the job and filming the pilot, way back in 2018.

“I remember them being like, ‘So much is going to change. Read the book, but don’t rely on the book. There is going to be new plots’.”

Natalie Williams – Jessica Sula

Jessica Sula stars as Natalie Williams, Heather Nill’s best friend and companion through the trials? of the show.

The British actress recently appeared in Scream: The TV Series where she played Olivia ‘Liv’ Reynolds back in 2019.

Before that, she also appeared in the series Godless, Recovery Road and one episode of Lucifer – Everything’s Coming Up Lucifer – as Amy.

Sula was also interviewed by Screenrant where she discussed Heather and Natalie’s friendship in the series.

She said: “Yeah, I feel very lucky. I just keep saying I feel so lucky that we love each other so much. Olivia’s a good captain of the ship; she really set a lovely tone. And she’s so kooky and has such a dark sense of humor that every day was a joy.”

Dodge Mason – Mike Faist

Mike Faist will be playing Dodge Mason, a character that Heather will have to contend with throughout the series.

Faist has been acting since 2012, with his first on-screen appearance being in The Unspeakable Act, a film directed by Dan Sallitt.

He would later go on to appear in a variety of different films including Our Time, I Can I Will I Did, Active Adults, and The Atlantic City Story.

Beyond Panic, Faist will be appearing in Steve Speilberg’s new film West Side Story, the latest adaptation of the classic musical.

The star will be playing Riff in the film, the leader of the gang Jets.

Ray Hall – Ray Nicholson

Ray Nicholson stars as Ray Hall, another contender during the Panic series of events seen in the show.

Recently Nicholson appeared in the Oscar Best Picture-nominated film Promising Young Woman as Jim.

His background is mainly in short films, however he did appear in the show Mayans M.C. between 2018 and 2019.

Some of his upcoming projects include the films The Pitch and Where Are You, where he will appear alongside Oscar Best Actor winner Anthony Hopkins.

Bishop Moore – Camron Jones

Camron Jones will be familiar to fans of The Purge TV series which aired on Amazon Prime back in 2019 – he played the character, Zane.

In Panic, Jones stars as Bishop Moore, another young adult that will try to survive through the death-defying challenges seen in the series.

Outside of Panic and Purge, Jones has featured in Elephant Department, Credits, and in an episode of Shameless as Damario.

Speaking to Cominbook.com, Joes said of Panic: “Something that really drew me in was — at least after I booked the job — my conversations with Lauren about Bishop and his relationships, not only with Heather and Natalie, but also with his family.”

Panic will be available to watch exclusively on Amazon Prime Video from May 28.
