RHOA’s Nene Leakes claims she was ‘sabotaged’ at reunion and told NOT to wear white like costars after post-show rant – The Sun
REAL Housewives of Atlanta OG Nene Leakes claimed she was ‘sabotaged’ at the reunion.
She said she was initially told NOT to wear white like costars after a post-show rant.
Nene posted a video on Instagram of her getting ready the morning of the reunion taping.
She captioned the post: "… I was told to wear something other than WHITE.
"#smh #sabotaging #thethreat #lifeofnene."
"Can’t wait for you to see my home cameras."
Nene did end up wearing white on the broadcast after changing out of a black sequin ensemble.
However, in a clip showing all the ladies before taping began, it appeared Nene was the only one not wearing white.
On part 2 of the reunion, Nene walked out for a second time.
The episode saw Nene fight with Kenya Moore, Eva Marcille and Kandi Burruss.
During two of the arguments, the women had to be muted in order for the reunion to continue.
Shortly after the episode, Nene took to Instagram to explain herself: "It only felt right to personally remove myself from the reunion!"
She went on that so much happened this season "(the cookie lady, Mark & Kenya's fake marriage, Dennis accusations, Snake gate and much more)."
However, she argued producers came down hardest on her, muting her and highlighting "things that had happened since the show has wrapped (like my relationship with Wendy [Williams] while in quarantine."
Nene concluded: "All this and so much more felt like the rules only applied to me and that I was being held to a different standard than others but you continue to be the judge."
