SAM Thompson is planning to propose to girlfriend Zara McDermott after a year of dating.
The Made In Chelsea favourite, 27, has revealed his plan to get down on one knee to the Love Island star, insisting: "I actually will."
The pair have since moved in together after going public with their romance in June 2019.
The relationship came soon after Sam's second appearance on E4 series Celebs Go Dating.
Sam failed to find love during his time on the show, but his luck soon changed after meeting Zara, 23.
During an exclusive online screening of Celebs Go Virtual Dating with the cast, agent Paul C Brunson told Sam: "I have one question, have you proposed to your girlfriend?
"Sam, this is very important, you two are perfect, make that happen, put a ring on it. You need to propose by the end of the year”
Sam replied: "I will, I actually will.
"How weird is that I have turned out of this whole situation with a girlfriend who I am currently holidaying with in Mykonos?
"The teachings you have all given me has allowed me to succeed in my relationship so I am eternally grateful."
He added "I know it’s about dating but I believe the work with the agents encompasses all of your life, the stuff I have learnt there from Paul and Anna I have utilised in the world around me."
The confession comes months after the pair celebrated their one year anniversary in May.
Sam marked the occasion on Instagram, writing: "1 year ago today, the most beautiful, kind and caring girl came into my life.
"I never thought I’d be lucky enough to know what true love was, and every day I need to pinch myself to check this is real. I don’t say it enough.
"I love you so much. Here’s to many more years together ❤️❤️❤️❤️ ."
Zara also shared her own lovely message to her boyfriend of one year with a pic in the same spot.
She wrote: "When you just wanna kiss his face but he just wants to eat😂 ❤️ Sam is a mood 😂 happy anniversary darling @samthompsonuk 💕💕💕
"I love you forever 💜 let’s go stuff our faces and watch the last kingdom in bed together."
Sam and Zara first went public with their romance last year after being spotted holding hands in London.
They were seen heading out for breakfast and shopping after Zara stayed over at Sam's Chelsea pad.
The former villa star has previously dated Alex Collard and Olly Murs, while Sam shared a long-term romance with MIC co-star Tiffany Watson.
