Steph McGovern, 38, was on hand to present the last edition of Steph’s Packed Lunch and she discussed a whole manner of topics with the studio audience. With coronavirus continuing to dominate the headlines, the Channel 4 chat show presenter wanted to talk about the North/South divide which was starting to become evident in terms of local lockdown restrictions. However, when one guest offered their take on the situation, they were interrupted by the sound of a falling object somewhere in the studio.

The Packed Lunch guest in question was sat in front of a makeshift shelf and halfway through his commentary, something fell from quite a height.

Everyone in the studio noticed the blunder, with Steph interrupting him by asking: “What are you doing to the place?”

“I did not move,” the audience member protested as the studio erupted with laugher, going on to add: “They don’t want me to talk about the North/South divide.”

After the slight delay to proceedings, the Channel 4 presenter then got the show back on track by allowing the university professor to finish.
