Who is Rylan's husband Dan?

Dan is a former police officer who worked on Operation Yewtree, investigating child sex abuse at the hands of powerful celebs like Jimmy Savile.

But he's mainly known as a Big Brother 2013 contestant and husband to TV presenter Rylan Clark-Neal.

Dan was evicted in week six of the series after being sent to Big Brother's 'safe house'.

It was meant to give him immunity but instead, he was put up for eviction and sent home from the competition.

How did Rylan and Dan meet?

Dan and Rylan met through Big Brother in 2013.

After Dan was evicted from the Big Brother house six weeks into the series, Rylan was there to interview him as soon as he left the show.

It's been love ever since, and Dan popped the question on a bent knee during a romantic trip to Paris.

The Clark-Neals have been happily married since November 2015, and tied the knot in a small, fairly private ceremony surrounded by close pals.

The guest list included Rylan's famous friends Katie Price and Steps singer Claire Richards, as well as Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

Dan's fellow Big Brother housemate, Hazel O'Sullivan, acted as a bridesmaid too.

When did Rylan and Dan get married?

In July 2016, Dan and Rylan made TV history when they became the first gay couple to host This Morning.

The pair stood in for Ruth and Eamonn while they were on holiday and viewers couldn't get enough.

At the time, Rylan revealed that Dan had been awake in the night preparing for his big daytime TV debut.

He said: "He was up at one o'clock this morning making notes!"

Dan has a 20-year-old son called Cameron, who was born long before he met his TV presenter hubby Rylan.

Rylan says his relationship with the son makes him feel like a "proper dad" and previously told The Sun: "He's got three parking tickets in the last week so I’ve been screaming at him down the phone."

Rylan added: "I look at him like he’s my own. He can talk to me – I'm Dad, but he can talk to me about sex!

"I'll say, 'As long as you’re being safe!' If that was Dan, he’d be like, 'Stop it, Dad!'."

There could be more sprogs on the way for Dan and Rylan as the TV presenter admits he's desperate for one of his own, and has looked into getting a surrogate.

What shows has Dan been on?

As mentioned before Dan has appeared on Big Brother in 2013 where he met Rylan.

Dan has also appeared on This Morning to guest host the show alongside his husband.

The former police officer has stared in the Channel 4 TV series Dispatches as a self-reporter, which investigates current affairs and is especially known for its undercover reporting.

In 2017, he appeared as a guest on ITV daytime talk show Loose Women.
