  • Police say they are still searching for the raiders and their accomplice in the van

This is the horrific moment a gang of armed robbers ripped a man from his £63,000 sports car and attacked him during a brutal carjacking.

Shocking CCTV footage shows the owner – who asked not to be named – being pulled from his Audi RS4 in Wolverhampton.

The masked gang rained down punches on the man as he desperately tried to stop the attack on February 12.

This is the moment three masked raiders assault the owner of an Audi RS4 and drag him from his £63,000 car as he pulled up outside his home in Wolverhampton last Friday

The van drives off allowing the raider to reverse back onto the street and escape with the car

The owner is left on the side of the street as his luxury estate – which can hit 60mph in 4.2 seconds is driven off at speed

And, despite his best efforts, the thugs continued to beat him before two of them jump inside the blocked-in vehicle at around 1.30pm.

The footage shows the Audi pull up outside the electric gates in Wolverhampton when a transit-style van stops behind it, shielding the German car from the road.

At least three men get out of the van and race over to the driver’s door, pulling him out onto the street and beating him.

After more than 30 seconds of abuse, one of the raider gets into the car and the van pulls off, allowing the thief to get away in the high-powered vehicle – which can hit 60mph in just 4.2 seconds and is electronically limited to 155mph.
