Children's entertainers dressed as Paw Patrol characters held hostage and racially abused by feral five-year-olds

THREE children’s entertainers dressed as Paw Patrol characters were battered, racially abused and held hostage at a party until police arrived in three riot vans.

The troupe was booked to perform at a four-year-old’s garden party but found the venue was a caravan camp.

Ebony Gooding, 28, told how the pals — dressed as Chase, Marshall and Sky from the hit Channel 5 cartoon series —  were confronted by a mob of primary school-aged children who immediately started kicking and punching them.

Her cousin, Rosie Trumpet, had her Chase costume head beaten off and a boy of five screamed racist abuse at her.

Another five children grabbed Ebony, pulling down her Sky head so she was unable to see and pushed her around.

A young child then grabbed a microphone as the pint-size hooligans repeatedly shouted racial slurs.

Ebony said: “We kept doing crying gestures to get them to calm down.

"No one was controlling them and they were just being allowed to attack us.”

Ebony, her sister Tamara, 29, and Rosie, 31, fled to their car but parents shut the gates and told them: “You are not getting out of here.”

'COMPLETE LUNATIC'

The birthday boy’s parents then demanded back their £80 deposit for the £400 booking before a crony of the father threatened: “I would just do what he wants — he’s a complete lunatic.”

The pals rang 999 and eight police officers raced to the scene at Little Billington, near Leighton Buzzard, Beds.

Ebony, from High Wycombe, Bucks, said: “There were so many police. There were three riot vans and three police cars.

“It just seemed like there was police everywhere.

"It was surreal and felt so over the top for a four-year-old’s birthday party but I can understand why they did not want to take any chances.

“We just couldn’t believe how quickly things got out of control. Those children were beyond wild. They were terrifying.

“The racial abuse would have been disgusting from adults but from children it was just unbelievable.

“Then having our heads punched off and being trapped and threatened — it’s the worst birthday party I have ever been to.”

The mum-of-one, who said she was still owed £320, added: “I had been petrified.”

A police spokeswoman said: “Investigations have been launched into allegations of criminal damage, assaults, threats to cause criminal damage and a public order offence.”
